Hello! Hi! I’m Mrs. Ullrich or Mrs. U! Let's be learning buddies! I'm looking forward to meeting & getting to know you! With over 15 years experience in a traditional classroom & on-line teaching, I am passionate about creating an environment where students feel comfortable being challenged to add to their knowledge. I enjoy making learning fun with my high energy & passion for teaching that support my students in reaching exemplary learning levels and real life connections. I incorporate technology and other useful resources that support my students. I provide timely feedback to ensure that parents and students are up-to-date with student progress. Personalized lesson plans & teaching in a differentiated instruction style are some of the ways I tailor my teaching to each student. Having taught elementary students in the US and overseas, I strongly support my students culture through literacy connections & creating an environment that supports the whole student.
Teacher Specialization
As a teacher with over 15 years of in-person and virtual teaching, I provide high quality education and support. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and Elementary Education. I have teacher certifications in Early Childhood-4th grade, ESL certification, Special Education certification, including a Post Baccalaureate certificate in Biliteracy in Teaching. I was honored with a grant that allowed me to earn my Masters Degree in Reading Education. I simply love what I do and enjoy watching students skills grow!
