My name is Salina Sherry I enjoy crocheting outdoor adventures. I became a tutor to help students realize their potential. Recognizing each child's unique strengths and learning styles is vital for shaping their educational journey. We must create a stimulating environment that encourages children to take risks, engage their senses, and learn at their own pace. I aim to improve students' academic performance and encourage independent learning while fostering strong relationships. My goals also include enhancing critical thinking and creativity. I am committed to adapting my teaching methods to meet individual needs and support each student's growth and academic excellence. Building positive relationships with students is vital for creating a supportive environment that promotes their academic and social growth. My goal is to empower them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Teacher Specialization
I have 15 years of experience in education, teaching students from grades K-12. I hold a Master's in Education and a Master's in Special Education, focusing on Autism and multi-categorical needs, along with an administration certification. My education from Fairmont State University and Salem University, combined with my background in both general and special education, allows me to explain difficult concepts clearly for students of all ages, making me well-prepared to support learners.
