Hello! My name is Ms. Martinez I have been teaching for 6 years. I enjoy working with elementary students. My students are my pride and joy. I love witnessing the "light bulb" moment that occurs within the students when they begin to understand the concepts being taught and seeing their confidence sky rocket. I enjoy teaching in different ways to cater to the diverse learning styles that exists. I like for the students to be part of their learning process and incorporate many discussions and educational games within the learning. I am certified to teach grade levels pre-kindergarten to sixth grade in all subject areas: science, math, social studies, and language arts. I have experience teaching kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I have also student taught in the upper grade levels. I am a certified bilingual teacher, and have many years of experience teaching Bilingual and Dual-Language classes. I also have my gifted and talented certification.
