Bio
I am a dedicated and dynamic Social Studies educator with a rich background teaching diverse curricula, ranging from 7th and 8th grade history to advanced college-level courses. My teaching philosophy is centered on fostering critical thinking. I hope to reinforce course concepts while fostering skills that will help students succeed in future courses. I have built many positive relationships with my students over the years. I feel this positive relationship and inclusion helps students strive to do thier best. I've successfully transitioned from teaching middle school US history to specializing in advanced high school and college courses. I currently teach AP Government and Politics, Government and Economics, and 9th Grade Honors Global Studies. Furthermore, I instruct U.S. History at a local college.

I hold an M.A. in Education and an M.A. in International Relations, providing a strong interdisciplinary foundation for my subjects.I have been teaching for five years at various levels. Advanced Placement (AP) Curriculum: Expertise in teaching AP Government and Politics High School Social Sciences: Proficient in teaching core high school subjects including Government, Economics, and 9th Grade Honors Global Studies, focusing on foundational knowledge and advanced analytical skills. College-Level Instruction: Experience as an instructor of U.S. History at the college level Middle School Foundation: Experience teaching 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies virtually during COVID.
