Bio
Hello there! My name is Sarah Wells! I am originally from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area but am currently living in Southern Alabama. I have one dog, a "potcake" named Clara that I adopted from St. Lucia. I enjoy travelling, reading, building puzzles, golfing, and more! My goal is to show my students that math does not have to be hard or confusing. I enjoy getting to know my students’ interests and learning styles. I look forward to the opportunity to help your confidence in math grow!
Teacher Specialization
I have held various long-term substitute positions teaching courses ranging from Math 6 to Honors Trigonometry to Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus! I have experience teaching in the classroom and in a virtual setting. I also have spent four years tutoring K-12 students in math, reading and writing in both settings. I have a B.S. in Mathematics and M.Ed. in Secondary Education. I love learning new things and hope that we can learn from each other :)
