Bio

Hello! I have had the honor of being a classroom teacher for the past 7 years. During my seven years as an educator, I've had the opportunity to uplift students through social-emotional learning, maximize student performance through differentiated tasks, and personalize learning to fit the needs of each individual student. I firmly believe all students can reach their goals! I love teaching math- it is my favorite subject! Often, my students who do not like math at the beginning of the year leave my classroom saying that they LOVE math! During my sessions, not only will students work on academic goals, but students will be encouraged to select appropriate strategies to help them solve future problems they may encounter.

Teacher Specialization

In May 2016, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Woman's University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Following graduation, I was hired to teach 4th grade math and science. Additionally, I served at my school as an instructional team leader. I have experience planning, differentiating, and delivering instruction to students in a variety of settings. I am certified to teach early childhood through 8th grade, ESL students, and gifted and talented students.
