Hello there! My name is Ms. Shanelle. I am so excited to get to know you and have fun learning together! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and reading. I have two loving kids (ages 4 and 5 years old) who keep me on my toes and make every day an adventure. I aspire to contribute to the social, emotional, and academic success of each student by helping each child achieve his or her individual goals and meet the academic standards. My patient disposition and passion for helping students flourish allow me to remain positive, foster growth mindsets, and encourage children to try their best. I am inspired to help each student reach his or her full potential by conveying high expectations, while maintaining a fun, nurturing environment. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
Teacher Specialization
I have worked with kids in various capacities, ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade. I have 7 years of experience in education, working with a diverse range of abilities and learning styles. My classroom experience has focused on grades 1-3, but I am licensed to teach grades 1-6. I graduated from Assumption University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Communication Science & Disorders. I went on to earn a Master of Education degree from Anna Maria College. I have an Elementary 1-6 License with SEI-Teacher Endorsement, as well as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License.
