Bio
I believe that all students can learn any content, but learn in different ways. I can't wait to tutor your student in the way that best supports them! I also believe that learning should be fun! Student growth is super important to me, and tutoring is one way I can support that! I'm currently taking a break from teaching in the classroom, but tutoring here is a way that I can still sharpen my skills as an educator and engage with students! I absolutely loved my time in the classroom, and although I'm taking a break right now, I can still build positive relationships online through tutoring! In the classroom, I prided myself on supporting students by teaching how they learn best, and creating a safe and inclusive environment for my students! I strive to do the same through K-12 Tutoring! I love reading, running, and shopping! My goal on Goodreads is to read 65 books this year- last year I read 60! I have a 5 month old baby girl and a crazy dog that keep me busy!

I've been teaching for the past 8 years, but am currently taking a break from teaching in a classroom setting. I taught 3rd and 4th grade, but am certified in all subjects K-6, middle school math, and K-12 history! I'm also a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy!
