Bio
Hi, I’m Stacy Neal! I love helping students grow, succeed, and discover the joy of learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, hands-on, and tailored to their unique strengths and interests. I provide encouraging, supportive feedback to help students build confidence, grow their skills, and reach their full potential. I build positive, meaningful relationships by listening to students, valuing their perspectives, and celebrating their successes. My teaching approach is flexible, inclusive, fostering respect, collaboration, and a love of learning for every student. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, RVing, gardening, and playing with our dogs. I’m passionate about helping students individually, inspiring confidence, and making learning fun and memorable.
Teacher Specialization
I have over 10 years of experience teaching in the elementary classroom, specializing in reading, writing, phonics, math, science, and social studies. I am certified in Gifted and Talented (GT) and English as a Second Language (ESL), and I have extensive experience supporting students with learning differences, including ADD/ADHD and dyslexia, through the MTSS process. I have also completed the Science of Reading academies, which has strengthened my approach to literacy instruction. I specialize in creating a learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and challenged. I tailor lessons to meet each student’s unique needs and love helping students build confidence, discover their strengths, and enjoy the learning process. In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience teaching and tutoring online, designing interactive, engaging lessons that keep students motivated in virtual settings. I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year in my district last year.
