I'm Stephanie, and my educational philosophy centers on fostering a dynamic learning environment that nurtures both academic growth and personal development. As a tutor, my primary goal is to empower students with the tools and confidence to succeed, tailoring my approach to their unique needs and learning styles. I prioritize building strong relationships with my students by creating a supportive and open atmosphere, where communication and mutual respect form the foundation for effective learning. Through this, I aim to inspire a lifelong love for learning and a sense of self-efficacy in each student I have the privilege to guide.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated with honors from NYU, earning a double master's degree in Childhood and Special Education. With extensive experience teaching pre-K through high school, I specialize in math, ELA (certified in Wilson), science, social studies, and executive functioning/study skills. Having taught in the most competitive private and public schools in NYC, I bring this high level of expertise to each lesson. I am also currently a tutor for one of the most elite tutoring companies in the world.
