Bio
Hello! I am Tasha Lyon. I love being a teacher and value life long learning. There is always something to learn. I enjoy seeing light bulb moments when people learn a new way of doing a problem or it becomes clearer to do a process that helps understanding. I like to tailor my teaching to involve the student to coordinate a meaningful tutoring experience. This means that I will incorporate interests for the experience to be impactful towards that student(s). Education to me is seeing that there is need for understanding and finding someone to help fill in that need with resources or knowledge that is personalized in each scenario.
Teacher Specialization
I have been in various teaching positions from being a 4th grade teacher to substitute teaching. I have background in teaching from ages 2 in pre-k to teaching math in high school. Every student is different and that is why a personalized method of teaching to that student(s) is important. I have a bachelor's degree from Boise State University, an endorsement in math, and two certificates in science. I have always wanted to be a teacher and happily can be that for you.
