Bio
Hello! My name is Teresa Hinton. I have many hobbies. They include learning the Italian language, crocheting, yoga, paint by number, and I play the piano. I choose to be a tutor because I LOVE teaching math in small group and one on one. I believe when a student starts to understand one concept because there was a significant connection, trust and confidence grows.
Teacher Specialization
My experience includes working in a middle school for 12 years and I have virtual experience for 4 years. I have instructed ballet and modern dance for 25 years. I have experience working in a variety of environments and audiences. Currently, I have a teaching certification in Middle School Mathematics from the Virginia Department of Education. I have received a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics from the University of Phoenix.
