Bio
Hello! My name is Terri Marks and I’m a certified educator and librarian. I hold a Master’s in Library & Information Science and specialize in helping students strengthen their literacy, writing, and critical thinking skills. I’ve worked with learners from diverse backgrounds, including international and online students, and I tailor every lesson to fit each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you’re improving reading fluency, preparing essays, or refining academic writing, I’m here to help you gain confidence and achieve results. And speaking of results, I am proud to share that each year students exceeded growth expectations per standardized assessment measures. No student has failed under my watch as a teacher and coordinator.
Teacher Specialization
My teacher specializations are in Literacy and English instruction, Information Literacy, in addition to Special Education within the American and IB curriculums. Moreover, I am specialized in Information Literacy instruction (including AI). I have over 12 years of experience teaching English, Reading, and Special Education.
