Bio

The first meeting with a student is to assess how they learn. With patience, guidance, and understanding, students can meet their goals. The first step is to send the students, parents, and guardians a welcome message. Discuss the student's strengths, weaknesses, interests, hobbies, and what they expect of me as a teacher. Plan an academic lesson and carry it out. The plan can change during the lesson, especially if the student needs help understanding the academic content. Depending on the student's needs, the plan might change to a different teaching style. I aim to build positive relationships with the students, the parents, and the guardians. It is critical to build trust and confidence in both the parents and students. My name is Tracie, and I have been an educator for thirty-four years. When not teaching in the academic field, I spend time with my family or work on my hobbies. My activities include painting, drawing, writing books, golf, and swimming.

Teacher Specialization

My educational career includes teaching self-contained regular education classes for Kindergarten, second, and fifth grades. In my regular education classes, students with different learning disabilities, including autism, were integrated into my classroom. For three years, I taught Title I to students who did not make the score for special education resources. Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education Master's degree and Specialist degree in Educational Administration
