Bio
Hi there! My name is Yasmeen, but you can call me Ms Eldahan! I am a teacher with over 16 years experience in education. I bring a warm, caring and creative energy in every session I teach. I believe that learning should be joyful, inclusive and full of curiosity! I like to think of my classroom, whether online or in-person, as a space where students feel heard, respected and encouraged to be themselves. I use a gentle, strengths-based approach and always tailor my lessons to match each learner’s interests and learning style. We’ll laugh, reflect, explore and grow together and I’ll be your biggest cheerleader along the way. My goal is to help you build confidence, not just in academics, but in who you are as a learner!
Teacher Specialization
I’m a certificated K-6 teacher with a Master’s degree in Education (Reading) and over 16 years of classroom experience. I’ve taught and tutored Early Years and Primary students and I’ve worked extensively with English language learners. My teaching journey has taken me around the world, from the US to Egypt and more! I am fluent in Arabic and have even been inside the Great Pyramid at Giza! I have delivered phonics intervention, in-person and virtually, and I specialize in phonics, comprehension and building literacy confidence. I love helping students learn and grow, and I can't wait to celebrate your achievements!
