Bio

I am a Special Education teacher who supports students with learning disabilities while helping them strengthen their skills in Mathematics. I use varied practice methods and gamification techniques to make lessons interactive, engaging, and confidence-building. My philosophy is that education is a symbolic partnership: students learn from teachers, and teachers also learn from students. This fosters growth, respect, and collaboration in every classroom. Beyond teaching, I enjoy video games, anime, 90s–2000s cartoons, music, cycling, guitar, and hiking with family and friends. These passions fuel my creativity and help me connect authentically with learners. My goal is to help each student unlock their potential, build real-world skills, and move confidently toward future success.

Teacher Specialization

I have 8 years of virtual education experience and 10 years of teaching overall, working with students in grades 7–12. My primary focus is Mathematics, but I also specialize in supporting students with learning disabilities in study skills, life skills, English Language Arts, and reading intervention. I hold a Bachelor’s in Special Education (Mild Intervention) and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, and I am Orton–Gillingham certified for dyslexia instruction. My approach integrates gamification, repetitive instruction and application, scaffolding, and information chunking to make concepts accessible and lasting. I design interactive lessons with tools like Kahoot, Blooket, Quizlet, and Genially, ensuring students stay engaged and confident while developing independence and mastery in challenging subjects.
