Bio
I am a bilingual high school mathematics and computer science teacher with experience teaching across middle school, high school, and college-level math courses. I have also supported students through SAT Math Bootcamps. In addition, I have experience teaching Mandarin Chinese and substituting for upper-level physics classes, which has strengthened my interdisciplinary perspective. My teaching philosophy centers on clarity, structure, and student growth. I believe that all students can succeed in mathematics when instruction is well-organized, concepts are clearly explained, and learning is reinforced through guided practice and meaningful discussion.
Teacher Specialization
I have two years of experience in education, teaching middle school, high school, and college-level mathematics, including SAT preparation. I also teach Mandarin at all proficiency levels. I have experience delivering instruction in both in-person and virtual learning environments. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, which strengthens my analytical approach to teaching and allows me to integrate logical reasoning and problem-solving strategies into math instruction. My specialization focuses on making complex concepts accessible, differentiating instruction to support students at varied academic levels, and guiding students toward measurable academic growth in both classroom and tutoring settings.
