Greetings to you and your family! My name is Mrs. Walker and I am an amazing teacher (tooting my horn), from the state of Arizona. I have four children of my own (ages 4-11) so I understand the "mommy/parent role!" I love to eat chocolate! My favorite food is baked macaroni and cheese. I like to swim, ride horses, go on random adventures, be spontaneous and dance to many types of music! My teaching philosophy is simple... connect with the student so they may succeed! And.... let's have a bit of fun while learning! That's it! There are many different paths and routes to finding the correct answer...which route should we take? Teacher Specialization
As a student at Arizona State University during my collegiate years, I partnered with America Reads/America Counts as a tutor. I obtained my M.Ed. from Grand Canyon University and also hold certifications in Non-profit Leadership and Management, CPR/First Aid, Event Planning and Structured English Emersion. I am able to teach Pre-K through college, plus adult education. I promote inclusive classrooms, diversity and positive growth mindsets! I am enrolled in TESOL certification with ASU.
