Bio
Hello! My name is Anesha James. I am excited to be on this learning journey with you! With a rich background in education as a teacher, instructional leader, and assistant principal, I am passionate about helping every learner reach their full potential. I bring over a decade of experience guiding students and supporting educators to create engaging, inclusive learning experiences. My approach to tutoring is rooted in empathy, patience, and high expectations. I believe that all students can succeed when they are supported in building confidence and developing a growth mindset. Whether I’m helping with foundational skills, enrichment, or targeted intervention, I tailor each session to fit the learner’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.
Teacher Specialization
Being an educator for the last 12 years has truly been a joy! I attended and graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's in Elementary Education. I specialize in literacy, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies for elementary students (K-5th). In the past, I was also a private tutor for elementary and middle school students and have taught virtually for two years. I am committed to making learning meaningful and relevant. I use strategies such as differentiated instruction, clear modeling, and positive reinforcement to ensure that students feel valued and motivated. I strive to create a learning environment that is warm, structured, and inspiring. My goal is not only to help students master academic skills but also to cultivate curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Let's work together to help your student thrive with confidence and joy!
