Bio
First, I am excited to work with you through this tutoring process!! I feel that students learn best when they have lessons more tailored for them. Technology can help with this!! I have always given my students positive feedback or guided them to how they needed to be working on their assignment. I plan to assist students to make academic improvements through tutoring. I hope to instill a variety of goals like critical thinking. I want to make sure these goals improve the students growth and academic improvements. I will give plenty of positive feedback and if needed guide them to complete an assignment correctly. I have lots of patience and do not mind repeating steps/directions as needed. I love helping students learn!!
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Instructional Education, I have taught students online and in the classroom. I taught 2nd grade and 4th grade before moving to the computer lab and working with Prek through 5th grades weekly. I have tutored 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades after school. I have tutored in the classroom but since I have a Masters in Instructional Technology then I know I will be able to tutor online with little to no issues. Tutoring online will give me an opportunity to reach more students. Trained to administer Dibels test as well as state tests and be tech support for the state tests when being administered on laptops.
