Bio
My name is Ashlee Cordial, and I love to work one-on-one or in small groups with students, so I can individualize support and get to know the students' strengths and weaknesses. I believe every student can reach their maximum potential with the right people and supports in place. I strive to find out how each student best learns, so I can be as impactful as possible. The goal of tutoring is not just work completion - it's understanding the concepts being taught and scaffolding until students can work independently.
Teacher Specialization
I have close to a decade's worth of teaching experience with diverse learners. I am certified to teach P-12 all subjects - Special Education, and I specialize in small group, structured support. I earned my Master's degree in Special Education from the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. I am certified to teach in KY, MI, and I have taught the last 2 years in a virtual school based out of Indiana. I have experience with all ages and abilities; students with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent categories; students with behavior concerns; students with cognitive impairments; students with specific learning disabilities; and students with physical impairments. I currently teach high school special education and have helped teach algebra, chemistry, physics, english, Spanish 1, and geometry the past 3 years in a virtual environment.
