Hi! I’m a passionate math educator who believes every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement. My teaching philosophy centers on making math clear, engaging, and connected to real life so students understand not just how to solve problems, but why they matter. I specialize in helping students who feel frustrated or behind regain their confidence. I create a calm, structured learning environment where students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes. My sessions are upbeat, interactive, and focused on building real understanding step by step. My goal is simple: help students leave each session feeling more confident than when they arrived.
Teacher Specialization
I bring 10 years of experience in education and currently teach 6th grade math online through Stride, Inc.. I have also taught 8th grade and high school math courses. I am certified in both Math and English, giving me the ability to support students in problem-solving and comprehension skills. My cross-grade experience allows me to strengthen foundational skills while preparing students for higher-level math.
