Bio

Hi! I am excited to be a part of your learning adventure! I believe that every child is different and needs instruction that meets their individual needs. I am a passionate teacher that aims to make learning positive and exciting. I believe instruction needs to be clear and engaging. My goal is for students to leave a tutoring session feeling confident and accomplished. I love being a part of the "ah-ha" moments and celebrating educational accomplishments together! Taking time to make meaningful relationships with each student will support successful tutoring sessions. I aim to make sure every student feels heard and respected as a scholar! I am the mom of three small children. We love doing crafts and visiting local museums! I chose to become a tutor to stay connected as an educator while I take some time home with my family.

I have taught kindergarten in the classroom and virtually for 6 years. Additionally, I have been a substitute and tutor with experience in all elementary grade levels. I have completed LETRS training and other professional development courses.
