Bio
Hello, My name is Charity Sphar. I believe with the right teacher and the right lesson, everyone can learn. I also find it very important to build a relationship with the student and caregiver in order for the struggling learner to be successful. My goals for tutoring are that many students feel more comfortable with whatever they are learning and be able to apply it afterwards. In my classroom, the students have the freedom to choose if they use a mic, chat, camera, and any combination of the 3. This helps students become comfortable with the online experience.
Teacher Specialization
I have a bachelors degree in special education and highly qualified in ELA and math. I am currently pursuing masters in educational administration. I have taught middle school special education for 7 years. I also have 2 years as a career explorations teacher. I have done fun summer classes like Scratch coding and cooking for 2 years. For the past 6 years I have worked with OHVA, so I am very experienced with the online space.
