Bio
Hi, my name is Clifford. I am a certified math teacher in California. I firmly believe that every student is capable of learning. It is just that they learn differently. As an educator, my goal is to help students discover how they learn best, be confident in themselves, and not be afraid to make mistakes while learning. I always foster a learning environment where students feel comfortable sharing ideas, asking questions, and thinking aloud. I will make sure that students are not just participating but are also actively developing conceptual understanding. I will bring energy, creativity, and a clear commitment to student understanding. Teacher Specialization
I have bachelors and masters degree in math education with 9+ years of experience teaching both middle school and high school and extensive experience tutoring students. My journey of becoming a teacher began during my 2nd year in high school. I used to tutor my classmates back then after school. That experience ignited the passion for teaching in me. Since then, I never stopped tutoring even until now that I am already a teacher. I have wide experience in teaching different fields in math like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. These experiences have provided me with relevant knowledge and skills that would be essential for students' success.
