Hello! My name is Ms. Crews and I am excited to begin this academic journey with you as your tutor! It is my belief that students learn best when instruction is focused, engaging, and individualized to meet their academic needs. Students deserve a tutor who is patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. I am committed to ensuring each student experiences positive growth and academic excellence. Building meaningful relationships with my students helps to establish a supportive and inclusive learning environment that is crucial to academic success.
Teacher Specialization
I have 24 years of experience teaching and tutoring English Language Arts and Reading at the middle school and high school levels. I also have experience tutoring writing at the college level. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of Texas at Brownsville and a Master of Education degree from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. My education and experience have prepared me to go above and beyond in helping students achieve academic success.
