Bio
Hello! I'm Jenna, and I cannot wait to meet you! I enjoy helping students see the wonderful ways learning can be applied to the everyday world. I believe everyone can grow and become a life-long learner, and what sometimes starts off as challenging, can become easy with dedication and practice! I also love technology, teaching digital literacy skills, and using tech to enhance learning. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hanging out with my kids and pets (I have dogs, horses, and cows!), reading a good book, outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, running, biking), watching tv shows and movies, and spending time with friends.
Teacher Specialization
I have been a certified teacher for 8 years, and it is a great joy to help my students grow as learners! I graduated from Texas A&M University and have a background in business and education. I teach all subjects, from Reading and Grammar to Math and Social Studies, and have helped students increase multiple grade levels, as well as achieve high STAAR test scores. I have experience teaching online, in public elementary schools, and homeschool and co-op.
