Bio
Hello! I am a passionate and experienced educator with a strong background in elementary and secondary instruction, as well as school leadership. I believe students learn best through clear, explicit teaching, consistent practice, and individualized support that meets them where they are. My teaching philosophy centers on building strong foundational skills, providing meaningful feedback, and helping students gain confidence in their abilities. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse learners and focused on differentiation, structure, and positive relationships to support academic growth. As a tutor, my goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to foster independence, critical thinking, and a love of learning. I am patient, encouraging, and highly organized, and I take pride in creating a supportive environment where students feel valued, capable, and motivated to succeed.

I have over 15 years of experience in education, including extensive virtual and online teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Education. My teaching specializations include elementary education (K–4), early literacy and phonics, reading and math intervention, differentiated instruction, virtual learning support, and confidence building for diverse learners.
