Bio
I am Ms. Jessica Gibble and have taught for 15 years. Experience teaching all subjects with a strong background in mathematics and science using a variety of curriculum resources. I have also developed curriculums for all subject areas. My philosophy and mission as a teacher is to provide a safe, encouraging, student centered learning environment which promotes independence, success, and enjoyment surrounding learning. I hope to help build student’s confidence in learning by meeting them where they are in their educational journey. My teaching personality is positive, flexible, and encouraging with a belief that everyone can achieve their goals; we just may take a different route or timeframe to get there. But we always succeed in getting there.
Teacher Specialization
15 years in education. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelors in grades K-6, and a Masters Degree in Education as well. My teaching specialization includes effective teaching skills such as student-centered learning techniques and research based strategies. I have observed and assisted with RTI/ RTII/ EST/ IEP and 504 programs, as well as, currently teaching gifted and accelerated programs. I have tutored students in person & online from grade levels K-6 and also taught summer school. I utilize an online platform which is used daily with students learning synchronously and asynchronously. Most importantly I create a safe learning environment to ask questions and engage in learning opportunities. I promote meaningful discussion surrounding learning with a focus on process and understanding. I believe that students should be empowered with investigative tools and meaningful encouragement so they can thrive in a learning environment that suits them best.
