Bio
My name is Jill Dent and I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, two kids, cat, and two guinea pigs. I'm a lover of all things outdoors- camping, hiking, sitting by a fire- anything that gets me outside! I have dreamt of being a teacher since I was a child, myself. I love to learn and am a genuinely curious person. More than that, though, I love to see others learn, especially when they reach that "aha moment". It is a joy to be part of that process, and I know that no two people learn the same way. That is why it is so important to me to connect with students in a way that I can understand what gets them excited about learning. Teaching is all about turning challenges into triumphs!
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for 18 years. I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education (K-6), as well as my Masters in Instructional Technology at Bloomsburg University. My experience spans across all grade levels from kindergarten to sixth grade. I have been an online teacher for 15 years. Currently, I teach all core courses for fourth and fifth grade and am quite adept in teaching in an online environment.
