Bio
I’m a passionate math teacher with 20+ years of classroom experience and 5 years of online teaching. I love helping students overcome their fear of math and discover that they can be successful. I focus on building confidence by showing students multiple ways to solve problems and helping them find the method that makes the most sense for them. Every lesson is personalized to match each student’s learning style and pace. Over the years, I’ve helped many students strengthen their skills, improve grades, and move up to the next level in math. I believe learning should feel supportive, engaging, and even fun!
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching for 24 years, and have always taught 6-8 grade math. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Math and a master's degree in education / counseling. I have taught in elementary schools, (K-8) in inner city schools and most recently have been tutoring math students online for the last 5 years.
