Bio
As an experienced K–8 tutor, I’m dedicated to helping students feel supported, encouraged, and successful in their learning. I create a warm, engaging environment where students feel comfortable participating and asking questions, and I use interactive, motivating lessons to keep them focused and excited to learn. Building strong relationships is at the heart of my approach. By fostering trust and confidence, I help students build strong academic skills and feel prepared to use them successfully in school. One parent shared that after our very first session, her daughter said, “I LOVE MATH!!!”—something she had never felt before. I strive to create positive, empowering moments like this for every student I work with.
Teacher Specialization
I have had six years of teaching experience, most of it virtual. During my Master's program, I conducted remote whole-class and one-on-one lessons with third and fourth graders and carried out my entire student teaching internship in a virtual third grade classroom. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from Oakland University in 2022 and hold a Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate for general education. Since May 2022, I have worked as an online tutor supporting K–8 students in math and English Language Arts through ongoing, individualized instruction.
