Bio

I’m a passionate educator and current graduate student in Baylor University’s Speech-Language Pathology program with a strong foundation in educational instruction. In my 3 years in the classroom, I became known for creating engaging, highly personalized learning experiences that make students feel confident, supported, and excited to learn. My teaching philosophy is built on patience, positivity, and meeting every learner exactly where they are. I believe that with the right strategies and encouragement, every student can thrive. While studying full-time at Baylor, I’ve continued working as a substitute teacher and tutor for the last year, which has allowed me to support students with diverse learning needs across multiple subject areas. I specialize in all content areas K-4, as well as 5-6 math and ELA.

Teacher Specialization

I have 4 years of education experience and 1 year of virtual tutoring experience. I have classroom teaching experience in 4th grade math, ELA, social studies, and science. I also have experience working with levels K-6 for in person and virtual tutoring.
