Bio
Hi, my name is Justin, and I’m excited to start this learning journey with you! I’ve been teaching for 12 years, working with learners of all ages, mainly in elementary education. I believe these early years are crucial for building a love of learning and a strong academic foundation. I’ve taught in Louisiana and Texas and have enjoyed every moment! Outside of teaching, I love playing the alto saxophone and traveling. These passions inspire me to bring creativity and real-world experiences into my lessons. I can’t wait to join your family and make learning fun and meaningful together!
Teacher Specialization
I hold a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education, a Master’s in Special Education (K–12), and a Master’s in Reading Literacy. I’m also certified as a Reading Coach and a K–6 Special Education Mild/Moderate specialist. I have two years of virtual teaching and tutoring experience. These qualifications help me support students with diverse abilities and learning styles. I also specialize in providing comprehensive educational support for students from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade. My work encompasses a wide range of learning needs and abilities, including ADHD, Dyslexia, English as a Second Language (ESL), behavioral challenges, speech and language development, special education, and the autism spectrum. I am also dedicated to recognizing and nurturing the unique potential of gifted and talented learners.
