Hi, I'm Miss Kelly, and I'm excited to work with you! When I'm not teaching, I love to dance and play pickleball- a funny name for a very fun sport. What do you like to do? Since we're all different, we all learn in different ways. I will adjust lessons to fit your needs and learning style. We can learn a strategy, sing a song, analyze a problem, create a diagram, and discover new things together. I can't wait to meet you!
Teacher Specialization
I am a Special Education Teacher with over 25 years in the classroom. My background is in Public School Elementary and Middle School Resource, Inclusion, and Self-Contained classes. I am very experienced and patient with students who struggle to learn new concepts or are resistant or anxious. My Bachelor's degree is from Texas Christian University, and my training and certification are in Special Education (all grade levels), Elementary Education, and English as a Second Language.
