Education should be engaging and transformative, igniting a spark within students and empowering them to reach their full potential. My approach is personalized, addressing each student's unique needs and learning styles. I encourage exploration, fun, and curiosity, striving to create a comfortable and confident learning environment. When students are excited and engaged, their learning becomes more effective and lasting. My goal is not only for students to master current material, but also for them to develop the background knowledge and critical thinking skills essential for navigating future challenges. When I’m not living out my childhood dream as a teacher, I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, baking, singing, and exploring new places. I’m always ready for an adventure and look forward to guiding you on your learning journey, helping you achieve your goals and discover a love for learning.
Teacher Specialization
With over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have taught ESL, Spanish, math, and art to grades K-8. I graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in psychology with a minor in economics and have the following certifications: EC-4 Generalist, 4-8 Mathematics, EC-12 ESL, 6-12 Spanish, PK-12 Art.
