Bio
Hello! I am excited to get the opportunity to introduce myself and look forward to supporting you on this learning journey! Teaching is more than a profession to me, I find joy as an educator in meeting each and every student's needs to help them succeed academically. My hometown is an island and I love incorporating nature and the world around us. I enjoy creating interactive, motivational lessons designed to support each student at their ability and skill level in any subject. I look forward to communicating with you and learning how I can best help!

I have a Master's in Secondary Education and have been an educator for over 18 years. I have had the pleasure as an educator to instruct special education students, general education students and gifted students in Language Arts, Math, Algebra, Geometry, Physical Science, Earth Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, History and Political Science/Govt. in person and virtually. I have held certifications in every subject for over 15 years. My experience includes 5 years in an elementary school setting in all subjects primarily in special education. In addition, 3 years in a middle school setting in general education 6th-8th grade. I also have 7 years of teaching experience with 9th-12th grades in Science, Math, Language Arts, US History/ Government and Special Education in a high school setting. Finally, I have 5 years of total online (some years combined online/ in-person) educational experience in a variety of academic levels in Science, Social Studies, Math, Language Arts and Reading.
