Hello! I am excited to get the opportunity to introduce myself and look forward to supporting you on this learning journey! Teaching is more than a profession to me, I find joy as an educator in meeting each and every student's needs to help them succeed academically. My hometown is an island and I love incorporating nature and the world around us. I enjoy creating interactive, motivational lessons designed to support each student at their ability and skill level in any subject. It's important to me to meet each student where they are and help at their individual level and learning style. I look forward to communicating with you and learning how I can best help!
Teacher Specialization
I have a Master's in Secondary Education and have been an educator for 15 years. I have had the pleasure as an educator to instruct special education students, general education students and gifted students in Language Arts, Physical Science, Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, US History and Political Science/Government in person and virtually. My experience includes 4 years in an elementary school setting in all subjects primarily with 4th-5th grade special education students as well as 3 years in a middle school setting in general education 6th-8th grade Language Arts and Science. In addition, I have 4 years of teaching experience with 10th-12th grades in Chemistry, US History/ Government and Special Education in a high school setting. Finally, I have 4 years of total online education experience with high school Physical Science, Social Studies and Earth Systems.
