Hi! I’m a passionate science teacher (B.S. Secondary Ed) who believes that every student can master science with the right spark. I specialize in the 5E method—Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate—to make sure lessons are never boring and always effective. My tutoring style is rooted in positive encouragement. I don't just teach facts; I help students develop the "science brain" needed for critical thinking and problem-solving. I am a certified educator specializing in Biology, Middle School Science, and STEM. With a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Science Education, I have extensive experience designing and implementing NGSS-aligned curricula using the 5E instructional model. My teaching background spans grades K–12, where I have successfully led courses in High School Biology, Earth & Space Science, Physical Science, and Computer Science. I am committed to an inquiry-based, hands-on approach that builds more than just subject knowledge; I focus on developing a student’s critical thinking, literacy, and problem-solving skills. Beyond the traditional classroom, I have coached competitive science teams for events like Envirothon and Ecomeet, and I have a proven track record of implementing successful reading interventions for at-risk students. My goal is to provide a supportive, interactive environment where students feel motivated to master complex scientific concepts.
