Bio
Hi! I’m Mrs. Larissa. I’ve been a passionate and dedicated educator for 11 years, and I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm into the tutoring world. I have taught kindergarten through third grade but am well-equipped to teach all elementary subjects and grade levels. I hold a master’s degree in education with a focus on reading and have served as the leader of my 2nd grade team for the past three years. In that role, I’ve helped plan and implement strategies, in both reading and math, to promote meaningful growth for all the wonderful students we get the privilege to teach everyday. I believe in fostering a positive learning environment and designing engaging, purposeful lessons that empower students to reach their goals. With the right support and encouragement, every learner can achieve success!

I have been teaching for 11 years and hold a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in reading. This focus allowed me to deepen my understanding of reading instruction and develop effective strategies to support learners at all levels in their reading journey. Throughout my career, I have dedicated countless hours planning and delivering lessons for individual students, small groups, and whole groups.
