Bio
Hi there! I'm so glad you're here! My name is Leia Steigerwalt and I would be so excited to start this learning journey with you! I absolutely love teaching, tutoring, and watching students grow in their learning to succeed. I am all about making learning fun and engaging- because life is too short not to have fun! Establishing positive relationships with my students is crucial, and I am a firm believer in sustaining rapport! When it comes to instructing, I meet students where they are in regards to their specific needs and prerequisite skills/knowledge. I strive to ensure students fully understand each concept being taught. My greatest fulfillment is helping others and I would absolutely love to help you! In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, reading, and playing with my dog! My goal is to make a positive impact on students and help them achieve success!

I graduated from West Virginia University with my Master's degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for 5 years and have been tutoring for 6 years. I have had experience teaching all subject areas grades K-5, and have tutored various elementary grade levels.
