Bio
I am looking forward to working with you. I love teaching reading and writing. I especially like to help struggling readers. I hope to make all students enjoy reading and learning. I want to encourage all students to become life-long learners. When I am not teaching, I enjoy doing triathlon, reading, and coaching swimming. I love living in the country and enjoying the outdoors with my family.
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and am certified to teach Elementary and Middle School. I especially enjoy teaching reading, spelling, grammar, and writing. I have experience teaching students with dyslexia, and have been a dyslexia teacher for the past 3 years. This will be my 15th school year teaching. I taught for 11 years in brick and mortar schools. I have taught the past 3 years online. I have an additional 3 years of experience tutoring online and in person.
