Bio
Hi! My name is Leslie Mellinger. I believe everyone has the ability to learn and teaching must adapt to each individual student. I love teaching and love seeing children's eyes light up when the grasp a concept. I love to watch children's learning expand when the world of reading opens up to them. I would love to help you with your journey in education.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught elementary students in the state of Texas for 28 1/2 years. I started out in Special Education teaching Resource and Content Mastery, then moved to Dyslexia Intervention, I then taught in a Second Grade Self-Contained classroom and then Fifth Grade ELAR in public school. I then taught Second Grade Math, Science, and ELAR in private school.
