I believe students learn best when instruction is clear, engaging, and tailored to their individual needs. My approach focuses on building confidence, strengthening foundational skills, and helping students feel successful and motivated in their learning. My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and respect. I strive to create a supportive, structured environment where students feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and taking academic risks. By building strong rapport with my students, I help them grow in confidence while celebrating progress every step of the way. My goal as a tutor is to provide high-quality, individualized instruction that leads to measurable academic growth. Through personalized support, I work to close skill gaps, improve classroom performance, and help students develop the confidence and independence needed to succeed beyond our tutoring sessions.

I am a dedicated tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with over 12 years teaching experience teaching, over 5 of those years being in a virtual environment. With extensive experience teaching online, I am skilled at adapting lessons for different learning styles and abilities. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and motivating, and I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel valued and capable of growth.
