Bio
Teaching is about helping students build confidence while developing a genuine understanding of the material. Throughout my experience teaching chemistry, physical science, and tutoring a variety of sub, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and learning needs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to create engaging lessons, differentiate instruction, and build meaningful relationships with students. I earned my bachelor’s degree in chemistry and have continued my professional growth through graduate studies in educational technology. I enjoy designing lessons that encourage critical thinking and real-world application rather than memorization alone. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and student centered. I believe students learn best when they feel respected, challenged, and comfortable asking questions. I strive to create a positive classroom environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed and grow both academically and personally.
Teacher Specialization
I am an educator with four years of classroom teaching experience specializing in chemistry and physical science. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I have also provided online tutoring for students in grades K-12 across a variety of subjects, adapting instruction to meet each student’s individual learning needs and goals. My experience includes working with general education students, English language learners, and students with disabilities in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I focus on creating engaging, supportive lessons that build confidence, strengthen critical thinking, and encourage academic growth. Whether teaching in person or online, I strive to make learning accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable while helping every student reach their full potential!
