Hi! I'm Nichollette — a Texas-certified educator with K-8 classroom and virtual teaching experience. I hold a Master's degree and a Master Teacher designation from both Dallas ISD and the Texas Education Agency, one of the highest honors a Texas educator can receive. I've taught in the U.S. and internationally in Bangkok, Thailand, giving me a deep understanding of how diverse learners think and grow. My teaching philosophy is simple: meet every student where they are and build from there — with patience, structure, and genuine belief in their potential. I create warm, focused sessions where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Whether your child needs foundational support or an extra challenge, I bring the same energy: clear, encouraging, and results driven.

I have over with 10+ years of specialized experience in K-8 English Language Arts, Reading, Writing, ESL/English for non-native speakers, Social Studies, World Cultures, and Math. I have extensive experience supporting struggling readers, English language learners, and students who simply need a different approach than what the classroom provides. Through years of virtual tutoring and remote instruction, I've developed strong skills in keeping students engaged and focused through a screen — using structured routines, interactive activities, and consistent encouragement to build momentum session after session. I'm experienced with a wide range of digital learning platforms and adapt quickly to each student's learning style, pace, and needs. My goal in every session is simple: make progress, build confidence, and make learning feel possible.
