Bio
Hi! I’m Paige. I was born in The Bahamas and currently live and teach in Florida. I am so excited to be doing this! I love teaching and helping children grown and understand things better. My teaching strategies include using differentiated instruction to tailor each lesson to a student’s needs and learning style. EVERYONE LEARNS DIFFERENTLY! My goal is to make learning fun, comfortable and supportive for every child. I believe learning can be a joyful experience. I like using games and other fun incentives to encourage participation. My goal as a tutor is to build their academic and non-academic skills throughout our sessions. If my students are confident in themselves and their own goals, I believe that they will excel! One of the most important things to me as a tutor is getting to know my students. The more I know about them the better! I look forward to helping your child grow!
Teacher Specialization
I have 2 years of experience as a second grade teacher. I have also done online virtual tutoring with small groups in 3rd grade and in person tutoring for a 5th, 7th and 11th graders. I got my teaching certificate in 2024 that certifies me to teach age 3-grade 3.
