Bio
I have been teaching for 43 years. I believe in creating a safe environment which fosters student growth so all students can learn to their full potential. I encourage creative thinking and critical thinking skills with my students. I have a bachelor of science degree in education and a master's degree in education with a specialization in curriculum and technology. I have received the teacher of the year award from my school. I have a passion for teaching; I am patient, flexible, and an active listener. I am respectful of my students.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught math for 25 years, after retiring, I tutored for 2 years with students in groups of 5 or less. I taught online during covid, and I was successful with my students when teaching online. I have a Bachelor's degree from State University College of New York at Oneonta, a Master's degree from Houston Baptist University, and a specialization in Instructional Technology from Houston Baptist University.
