Bio
Hello, my name is Rhonda Roux. My educational philosophy is to have a student believe in themself, to love learning, to understand that it is acceptable to make mistakes, and to learn how to set goals. The student and I are part of a team. I provide a safe, loving. accepting environment to ensure that all students can learn.
Teacher Specialization
In 1998 I received a Bachelors of Arts in Education. I have certification to teach kindergarten through eight grade. In the 25 years of teaching, I have taught fourth, third, first, and kindergarten-with 15 years in kindergarten. During the covid period I taught kindergarten online. This experience enabled me to face the challenges of online teaching: providing hands-on activities, keeping a student's attention, making sure we all are engaged.
