Bio
Hi! I’m Teresa, and I believe every student can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and a little patience. I love helping students make sense of challenging concepts and watching their confidence grow along the way. My goal is to create a positive, comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. I break difficult concepts into manageable steps and adapt my approach to fit each student’s needs. I build strong relationships with my students by getting to know them as individuals, celebrating their progress, and making sure they feel heard, supported, and confident in their abilities.

I am a certified math and science educator with 24 years of classroom and virtual teaching experience. I specialize in making challenging math and science concepts clear, relevant, and approachable for students of varying abilities. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration, graduate-level coursework in Biological Sciences, and certification in Library Science.
