I believe students learn best when instruction is engaging, individualized, and connected to their unique strengths and learning needs. As a tutor, I use differentiated strategies, ongoing assessment, and meaningful feedback to build understanding, confidence, and independence. My goal as a tutor is to help students strengthen their academic skills while building confidence, critical-thinking abilities, and effective problem-solving strategies. I am committed to helping each student reach their individual potential, develop a positive mindset toward learning, and achieve lasting academic growth. I strive to build positive, meaningful relationships with students by creating a welcoming environment where they feel respected, supported, and comfortable asking questions. I encourage open communication and celebrate each student’s progress to help them develop confidence and feel valued throughout the learning process. Teacher Specialization
I have been a mathematics educator for the past NINE years, teaching students across both middle and high school! Throughout my teaching career, I have taught a variety of courses including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Foundations of Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, SAT Prep, and GED Math. I have also had the opportunity to serve as a 9th Grade Math Department Lead, supporting both students and fellow educators. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education Mathematics, and now I am excited to bring my experience and passion for making math easier to understand to K12 Tutoring! I look forward to helping students strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and realize just how capable they are!
